Dr. Gabriel Crenshaw Bio
Dr. Gabriel Crenshaw is a sought after educator, speaker, songwriter, and on-air radio and television personality who has committed his life to observing and understanding the humanity that unites us all. For more than a decade, he has established his career around his own life journey, which he deftly connects with the common struggles and triumphs experienced by every human being.
He was a precocious child who grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and at a very young age, he demonstrated a talent in music. Always gregarious, energetic, independent, and ambitious, he pursued undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati in broadcast communications; a natural progression for someone with his unique skills and penchant for building trust in others. Early in his education and career, Dr. Gabe was enormously influenced by the work of educator and entertainer Dr. Bill Cosby. Despite his breadth of knowledge and experience in the music industry, which eventually brought Dr. Gabe to Los Angeles, he pursued an advanced degree in psychology to reach even further toward expanding his understanding of human development.
Over the last several years, he has dedicated his studies and profession to finding ways for creating basic human connections in every corner of the globe. He is particularly adept at building bridges between the generations, as he focuses on the universal interconnectedness of all people. Dr. Gabe uses his background as a multicultural professional psychologist to talk about social concerns that many prefer to tip toe around. His goal is to have people recognize that everything they need to succeed is already within them.
Dr. Crenshaw’s resume includes appearances on national and international television and radio programs and he continues to present lectures on college campuses and at conferences throughout the world. He is high octane, tremendously insightful, and always authentic. A gifted educator, Dr. Gabe inspires us all to face our deepest fears, accept our innate brilliance, and to appreciate the transformative power of genuine self-reflection.
